Frequently asked questions

A number from 0 to 100 that says how much a card is played in a format right now. The most played card of each format has 100. We combine several sources of tournament play into one number and recalculate it every day. We never publish the sources or raw counts, only our Moxou Score, rank, trend and typical copies.

Nine: Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Premodern, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, Duel Commander and cEDH.

Always the official ones: Wizards of the Coast for Standard, Pioneer, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper and Commander (cEDH), the Premodern format managers, and the Duel Commander committee at duelcommander.org. Duel Commander split in October 2025; changes announced only on mtgdc.info are not included. We check the lists every day and keep the full history on the Banned & Restricted page.

No. Moxou is not a price tracker. On a store page you already see the store’s price, and Moxou adds how much the card is played.

Without an account: the top 50 cards of each format and details, legality and rulings for every card, with ads. With a free account: the Moxou Score of every card in every format and an unlimited watchlist, while Moxou is in beta.
